Mojito
The Mojito originated in Cuba, but not much else is known beyond that.
It is very similar to the description of a 19th century drink called an El Draque after English privateer Sir
Francis Drake. It was another favorite of author Ernest Hemingway (who seems
to have had a lot of favorite cocktails).
Ingredients
Units:
- Simple Syrup - 1½ Tbsp
- Mint - 1 sprig
- Light Rum - 2 fl oz
- Lime Juice - 1 fl oz
- Club Soda - 3 fl oz
- Crushed Ice
- Lime - 1 wedge
