Pecan Reine de Saba
"The name of this cake translates as Queen of Sheba. Reine de Saba is exotic, but it delivers chocolate in a form that Americans love: it is really like a brownie. Although not quite as rich, it is just as chewy. My grandfather used to make this and cut it into squares like a brownie for sale in his shop. The classic recipe calls for walnuts, but I thought pecans might be an intriguing variation. It is a good recipe to play with that way. Serve it with caramel ice cream."
