Tres leches (or "three milks") cake is a delicate sponge caked soaked in a combination of sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. The cake is then topped with a fluffy layer of whipped cream. Popular throughout Latin America, most historians believe this cake originated in Nicaragua, but there is some dispute over this. Wherever it originated, it's a delicious sweet treat!
