Palomaesque Cocktail
This version of the Paloma replaces tequila with mezcal for a smokier, earthier flavor. It also adds Cocchi Americano for an extra spicy twist. It comes from Scott Baird at Comal in Berkeley.
Ingredients
- Ice Cubes
- Mezcal - 1 fl oz
- Honey Syrup - 1 Tbsp
- Cocchi Americano - 1½ fl oz
- Grapefruit Juice - 1 fl oz
- Lime Juice - 1 Tbsp
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Club Soda - 1½ fl oz
- Grapefruit - 1 wheel
