Straits Sling
Better Cocktails At Home: "The Straits Sling is a drink meant for warm temperatures. It is a complex mix of rich flavors against a backdrop of refreshing gin. This cocktail is likely a precursor to the more famous Singapore Sling, but I much prefer this drink. I make mine with cherry liqueur rather than cherry brandy and swap lemon for lime. You could probably call this the (Not Quite, but Very Nearly) Straits Sling."
